Here are some questions and answers pretaining to the election services that you may find of interest:

Q: Do you have TTY service_
A: You can receive all information relating to the election by calling the
Access Toronto TTY line.

Q: If I cannot mark my ballot on my own can I ask for assistance or bring a
friend along to help me_
A: Yes. If you are unable to mark your ballot on your own you can ask any
of the election officials for assistance. You may also bring a friend along
to assist you. You must swear an oath that you require assistance and your
friend must swear an oath that they will vote as you instruct them to.

Q: Do you provide braille or large-type ballots_
A: No. We do provide magnifyer sheets providing 3X magnification and
large-type instructions at every voting place. If you are unable to vote on
your own, you may ask a friend or one of the election officials to assist
you. You must swear an oath that you require assistance and your friend must
swear an oath that they will vote as you instruct them to.

Q: Do you provide interpreters_
A: No. Although we do try to place election day workers with second
language skills in areas where they will be most helpful, we do not provide
specific translation services.

Q: Can I bring an interpreter with me_
A: Yes. You may ask anyone who is not a candidate or a scrutineer to act as
an interpreter for you. They must swear an oath that they will faithfully
translate any communication between you and the election officials.
Interpreters may not go behind the voting screen with you or assist you in
voting.
